OCD Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) in Louisville

OCD intensive outpatient program in Louisville Kentucky at River City OCD Clinic

Sometimes weekly therapy isn’t quite enough to break out of the cycle of OCD. Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) in Louisville provides a more focused, short-term approach, providing structured, frequent sessions using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). This level of care is designed to help you make meaningful progress in a shorter period of time, especially when OCD feels particularly stuck or overwhelming.

What Is an OCD IOP?

This structured OCD treatment program is an accelerated version of ERP and ACT which typically consists of two 60- or 90-minutes sessions per day across 2-3 consecutive weeks.

While many individuals enter IOP for OCD, we also treat:

  • PTSD

  • Social anxiety

  • Body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs), such as hair-pulling and skin-picking

  • Other anxiety-related conditions and perfectionism
