A Different Approach to OCD Treatment
According to Dr. Street:
"OCD isn’t a disorder of danger—it’s a disorder of doubt and misinterpretation of thoughts and feelings.
Treatment isn’t about eliminating thoughts or achieving certainty. It’s about changing your response to those thoughts so they no longer dictate your life. My approach emphasizes learning how to live with uncertainty while still moving toward what matters."

Authorized to Practice Telehealth in PSYPACT Participating States
Dr. Street Russell is authorized by the Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (PSYPACT) Commission to provide therapy across state lines through telehealth—without needing a separate license in every state.
Because Dr. Street Russell holds this authorization:
-
He can work with clients in multiple participating states (see PSYPACT map for participating states)
-
Clients can continue therapy even if they travel or relocate
-
It increases access to specialized OCD treatment, even in areas where it may not be available locally
In simple terms:
If a client lives in a participating PSYPACT state, Dr. Street Russell can legally work with them—even if they are not physically located in Kentucky or Indiana.
This authorization—the Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT)—is granted to licensed psychologists who meet specific standards and allows for safe, regulated care across multiple states.
