What Therapy With Savannah Is Like
Savannah strives to create a therapeutic environment where clients feel safe, respected, understood, and supported.
Her approach is collaborative and individualized, recognizing that different people bring different experiences, strengths, and challenges into therapy.
But support doesn't necessarily mean avoiding difficult conversations or uncomfortable experiences.
Savannah believes therapy should also provide opportunities for clients to challenge unhelpful patterns, practice new skills, and take meaningful steps toward the lives they want to build.
Using evidence-based approaches, she works with clients to identify what matters to them, develop practical strategies, and begin making changes that align with their goals and values.
Her aim is to balance compassion and encouragement with opportunities for growth, recognizing that meaningful change often involves practicing something different even when doing so feels uncomfortable.

Beyond the Therapy Room
Savannah grew up in Austin, Texas, where autumn apparently functions less like an actual season and more like a slightly less aggressive version of summer. Since moving to Louisville, she's discovered that fall is, in fact, a real thing, and it's quickly become her favorite season.
Outside the therapy room, Savannah enjoys spending time with her husband, getting outdoors, reading fiction, attending concerts, and FaceTiming her niece and nephews.
She's also preparing to become a first-time mom, which means she's currently experiencing a rather literal version of personal growth. As she puts it, while clients are working toward growth in the therapy room, they may notice she's growing a little herself.
