Intensive Outpatient Program
Sometimes weekly therapy isn’t enough. When progress stalls, more structure, time, and support can help you move forward.
Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a short-term, focused treatment designed to create meaningful momentum.
What to Expect
While many individuals enter IOP for OCD, we also treat:
-
PTSD
-
Social anxiety
-
Body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs), such as hair-pulling and skin-picking
-
Other anxiety-related conditions and perfectionism
Treatment is always individualized and may include:
-
Exposure with response prevention (ERP) and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) for OCD and related conditions
-
Cognitive processing therapy (CPT) or ACT for PTSD
-
Habit reversal training (HRT) and ACT for BFRBs
-
ACT-based approaches for anxiety and perfectionism
Who It's For
IOP is a good fit if:
-
Symptoms feel stuck despite weekly therapy
-
You need more structure and consistency
-
You’re looking to build momentum quickly
-
You want a more focused, intensive approach
Getting Started
The process begins with a consultation to determine whether IOP is the right fit.
If appropriate, we’ll complete an assessment to clarify diagnosis and current symptom severity, and use that information to guide your treatment plan.
