Exposure and response prevention (ERP) is the gold-standard treatment for OCD. It involves gradually facing feared situations while reducing compulsive responses.
ERP helps retrain the brain to respond differently to uncertainty and distress, leading to long-term improvement.
Our clinicians often use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as an enhancement to ERP.
We specialize in OCD , anxiety, perfectionism, PTSD, body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs), and depression—not general mental health care.
That means we use targeted, evidence-based treatments like:
• Exposure and response prevention (ERP)
• Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
• Habit reversal training (HRT)
• Cognitive processing therapy (CPT)
All clinicians at River City OCD Clinic have specific training, experience, and expertise in how these conditions actually work, and how to treat them effectively and competently.
Many clients come to us after trying therapy that didn’t fully address OCD, a BFRB, PTSD, or anxiety.
We changed our name to better reflect what we actually do best.
Over time, our practice has become increasingly focused on specialized, evidence-based treatment for OCD and anxiety. As part of that shift, we also discontinued ketamine and medication services in order to fully focus on this area of expertise.
While our legal business name remains Reclaim Wellness Group, we now operate as River City OCD Clinic to more clearly communicate our specialty and help people find the right care.

It means the treatments we use—like exposure and response prevention (ERP) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)—have been scientifically tested and shown to be effective for specific conditions like OCD, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and depression.
We combine these approaches with your individual goals, preferences, and values to guide treatment.
Most of our therapists work with adults (18+). Some clinicians also see children and adolescents, though availability may be limited. Contact us to learn more about current openings.
